My neighbor Totoro is a film of Hayao Miyazaki realised on April 16 of 1988. The original name of this movie is Tonari no Totoro, the film is above all aimed at all children.This film was the first Studio Ghibli in commercially exploit.
The film tells the story of a University student who moves with her two daughters to a rustic house because his wife, who is sick in the hospital of the town, to put well. One day, the younger sister, begins to follow a few small rabbits that lead him to the inside of a tree where were a kind of giant rabbit called Totoro.
Characters
Satsuki: She is one of the protagonists, and the oldest daughter of the Kusakabe family. She always plays with her sister Mei but the absence of her mother makes it behave more maturely.
Mei: She is the youngest daughter. She always plays with his sister Satsuki and she's very curious. She is the first to see Totoro but they didn't believe that
Totoro: Is the giant rabbit which live in the forest. He is the sir of the forest and he plays with Mei and Satsuki

Grave of the Fireflies is a film of Isao Takahata realised the 17 of April 1988. The movie is based on a novel (with the same name) by Akiyuki Nosaka in 1967. The original name of this film is Hotaru no haka. This film run by the second world war in Japan.
The film takes place in Japan during the second world war. The protagonists are two brothers who have to survive this war to overcome all obstacles and difficulties which put them ahead. Brother elder, Seita, feel a great duty, which is to take care of her younger sister Setsuko, of 5 years.
Characters
Seita: Is the older brother of Setsuko. He is 14 years old and his main purpose is to take care of her sister. He avoid giving trouble to people but he claim what is yours to help his little sister.
Satsuko:Satsuko is the little sister of Seita, she is 5 years old and whenever is possible, she try to smile, but throughout the film, the girl begins to feel damage from malnutrition.

Castle in the sky is another film from Hayao Miyazaki realised on 2 August 1986. The movie is influenced by Jonathan Swift's novel "Gulliver's Travels". The original name of this movie is Tenkū no Shiro Laputa. In countries where Spanish is spoken, this title was the result of mockery, so gave him the title of "The castle in the sky". Sipnopsis
Pazu is a boy who works in a village of miners, one day sees a girl that is falling from the sky, and he save her. The two children soon become friends, and the girl, Sheeta, tells him that some men of the government are chasing her because they want to get the stone which bears the collar, to find the castle in the sky called Laputa.
Characters
Pazu: Pazu is a lively and hyperactive boy who works in the mines of his village. When he meet Sheeta, they become friends and along the film starts to feel attraction for her, so he tries to protect her by all possible means.
Sheeta: Sheeta is a very nice girl who cares much for others. She is a descendant of one of the families of Laputa. Sheeta takes love to Pazu so she don't want to give him troubles.
Dola: Dola is an old woman, who leads a band of pirates. She is an ambitious lady but in fact is a good person.
Muska: Muska is the villain of the film. He works for the Government, but that is only a cover to keep the secrets of laputa for he. This character is an evil and selfish, his only aim is to have more and more dominion.
Dola's band: They are the pirates directed by Dola.
Sky Robot: They are soldiers robot that habit in the castle in the sky. In the past they fought against the attackers of the Castle, and when came the time of peace began to take care of the fauna of laputa and it came out grass by the body. One curiosity is that the Fox squirrels which appears in Nausicaä of the Valley of the wind are the same that appear in Castle in the sky.

Sipnopsis
The place where the
events of the film occurs is a post-apocalyptic world where nausicaa is the
princess of the valley of the wind. She loves the insects of the Toxic Jungle, a
forest whit giant mutant insects. One night, during a visit by the Valley's
swordsmaster, Lord Yupa, a large fixed-wing cargo aircraft from the kingdom of Tolmekia
crashes in the Valley. Nausicaä tries to rescue an onboard passenger, the
wounded Princess Lastelle of Pejite, who pleads with Nausicaä to destroy the
cargo before dying. The cargo is an embryo of a Giant Warrior.
Characters
Nausicaä: Nausicaä is the Princess of the Valley of the wind, is a girl with great empathy and mental strength. It has the ability to communicate with animals and insects of the Toxic Jungle. Drive a single-seater glider, called Möwe. She has a Fox squirrel as a pet.
Yupa master: The Yupa master is an Explorer and one of the best swordsmen in the world, widely known in the periphery, in the Valley and feared by his enemies for his great ability to fight.
Gram/matriarch: A wise woman of the Valley.
Asbel: Asbel is the Prince of Pejite, and friend of Nausicaa. They help each other on several occasions.
Lady Kushana: Princess of Tormekia. In the early days is selfish, proud, serious and nasty, but known to Nausicaa begins to change his personality by someone with more empathy.
Kurotowa: Tormekia captain, is under orders from Lady Kushana and feel attraction for her. He is an ambitious person and ironic.
Ohms: Gigant Insect that live in the Toxic Jungle.They are the "guardians" of forest, responsible for its defense.
Möwe: The single-seater glider

Studio Ghibli (Sutajio Jiburi in Japanese) is a famous animation film studio founded by Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata in 1985. Their first official film was 'Castle in the sky' but before that, Miyazaki made his first own work with TopCraft Studio called 'Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind' and therefore, Studio Ghibli took 'Nausicaä' like a Ghibli film. These are the main members: -Directors: Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata -President: Toshio Suzuki -Composer: Joe Hisaishi There is a museum too, where are exposed sculptures of ghibli´s characters and places of the movies. The museum is located in Mitaka, Tokyo.
